Regular membership in Christian Legal Fellowship is open to all legal professionals such as Judges, Lawyers, and Law Professors.
Law Students enrolled in a recognised accredited Law School are also welcome to join at reduced rate.
Other interested Christians are also most welcome to join CLF as Associate members (Friends of CLF). Associate members include individuals and institutions. Registered Para-legals and notaries are also encouraged to join as an Associate member.
To become a member or associate member of CLF, applicants must be able and willing to sign the statement of faith. In addition, applicants acknowledge reading the objects of Christian Legal Fellowship.

Membership fees are paid on an annual or a sustaining (auto-debit from a credit card) basis and are due upon application.

New online Membership Portal and Directory
Members of the Christian Legal Fellowship, among other things, gain access to our brand new Membership Portal. Here approved members gain access to an up-to-date membership directory (except for those members who wish to remain anonomous), a CLF profile, classifieds, a resource library, and access to registration and other information about CLF’s major events.

The new Members Portal is also where you can apply to become a member of the Christian Legal Fellowship! To access the portal, please go to the login page. Follow the directions to set up an account.
Profile
Create a profile for yourself, making sure to include any and all information required for applicants. By updating your existing profile, you will ensure that your membership directory listing is always up-to-date and that the CLF office has accurate information on the programs that you want to be involved in, such as the referral and mentorship programs.
Once your application for membership is processed, this profile will become your CLF membership profile. You can have confidence that your profile is secure and that only your basic contact information will be visible to other members through the directory. Any additional information you provide is only available to CLF staff. This will help ensure you get the most out of your membership.
Directory
The new online directory is dynamic and interactive. You can search directly for the person you are looking for, or search through the easy-to-navigate listing. You will also be able to contact each other directly, by clicking on the e-mail icon next to another member’s name. (We do however respect your anonymity and most certainly will keep your contact information confidential upon request.)
CLF Lawyer Referral Service
A significant perk of active paid-up membership is free enrollment in the CLF Lawyers Referral Service. Every week dozens of potential clientele from across Canada seeking a Christian lawyer contact CLF Lawyer Referral Service. CLF will in turn connect these people with lawyers from the CLF membership referral roster. Just one referral could pay for years of membership dues.
Membership Fees
The new Membership Portal is also equipped to manage membership payments. As your expiration date approaches, you will receive an email reminding you that payment is due and prompting you to login to the portal to make a payment. You will then be able to pay for your membership securely online OR indicate that you will be paying by cheque and mail in your payment.

Note for new applicants: Regardless of the method you choose to apply, prospective members make application with the understanding that CLF staff will authorize the membership only after checking references and receiving the signed statement of faith.
