Christian Legal Fellowship (CLF) seeks to reveal and implement a distinctly Christian worldview in every area of life, partic ularly in law and public policy, through scholarship, education, and advocacy.  Interns of the Christian Legal Fellowship will be trained to incorporate Christian principles in their analysis, practice, and ministry.  CLF also seeks to enhance the In terns’ sense of professional responsibility and their ability to reflect on and learn from their experiences. 

A summer internship with CLF is a great opportunity to gain experience in a legal setting, while also being exposed to the operations of a non-profit, and all that entails. Tasks may vary from legal research projects to event administration to writing and editing and/or design, to name a few. A CLF intern needs to be flexible and willing to take on a wide variety of projects.

Required Qualifications

We require the following qualifications from successful applicants:

  • Background in law (Preference given to CLF law student members)
  • Sees law as a ministry
  • Strong research and communication skills
  • Complete tasks thoroughly, with high attention to detail
  • Organized
  • Good time management and efficiency
  • Able to multitask
  • Able to work well in a team setting and independently
  • Strong computer skills
    • Highly capable with Windows Office Suite and willing and able to learn additional programs, as required
  • High level of professionalism
  • Flexibility/willingness to work some evenings and weekends, as the need my arise
  • Agrees with CLF’s Objects and Statement of Faith
