In addition to its annual conferences, the CLF hosts a number of special events throughout the year. Here are some previous seminars hosted by the CLF:

CLF Maritime Conference
Moncton, May 14-15, 2004
CLF leadership is breaking from tradition and offering a spring mini-conference at the Moncton Wesleyan Church in Moncton, New Brunswick. The conference will begin with a Law & Church Leadership training day, paralleling the west coast event on September 30th (below), for lawyers, pastors and ministry leaders concerned with the impact of recent changes in the law on churches, charities and religious freedom in Canada. Following completion of this training, CLF members and friends will enjoy east coast hospitality and fellowship Friday evening, and again Saturday morning with additional sessions tailored to the interests and needs of Christian lawyers. This event will conclude with a triumphant concert by Ray Boltz, who is scheduled to perform for the Moncton Wesleyan Church congregation, in the afternoon of May 15th.

Christian Legal Intervention Academy
Ottawa, May 30 - June 2, 2004
The Christian Legal Intervention Academy (CLIA) trained Christian lawyers and law students in our second legal training academy which took place May 30-June 2 in the nation’s capitol.
Once you are accepted into the academy your costs, including return airfare from your home airport, your accommodation and most meals are covered. The training academy will feature some of the nation's top legal experts who will instruct in Canadian constitutional matters, religious freedom and various Charter issues. The pro-bono commitment over a three-year period of time is 300 hours.
CLIA is sponsored by the following organizations:
Focus on the Family (Canada), The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, Home School Legal Defense Association, The Catholic Civil Rights League, Real Women of Canada, and Christian Legal Fellowship.
