Welcome from the Executive Director

Join us in breathtaking Banff, Alberta, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, where you will not only enjoy the majesty of God’s creation but you will be challenged and inspired to Influence YOUR Canada for Christ”!

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."  Acts 1:8 NKJV

Speaking on the Mount of Olives, Jesus outlined a vision that would affect the whole world. He told His followers to start their witness in Jerusalem, a hostile and intimidating environment to the apostles. But it was Judea’s key city, centre of religious, political, economic and cultural life. The relationship of Jerusalem to Judea was that of urban city to province. However, Jesus was careful to link Judea to Samaria, and with it, barriers of regional pride and cultural arrogance. The gospel would not stop there. The end of the earth signaled the inclusion of Gentiles or “foreigners” – the ultimate shock for the apostles.

What a challenging picture is presented to us for our Canada today!  How does that translate to us as legal professionals who desire to engage the culture, demonstrate God’s Justice, and reflect His character?  To answer that question and to lead us through our theme during the weekend, we are pleased to introduce you to a notable lineup of conference speakers.
