CLF and CCCC Joint Day Symposium, Thursday, September 29, 2005 "The Place of Religion in Society"
On the afternoon of September 29th, CLF will host an event in cooperation with Canadian Council of Christian Charities (CCCC) discussing the changing role of religion in Canadian society. There will be opportunity for individual and group discussion. Plan now to arrive early for the CLF National Conference and participate in these sessions at Stage West, Mississauga. A shuttle will be available from the CLF Conference site upon advance request.

To make Reservations with the Delta Meadowvale Hotel: Please call the Reservations Department at 905-542-4003 or 1-800-422-8238 (Between the hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday). Callers must identify themselves as being with the Christian Legal Fellowship and call prior to September 8, 2005 in order to qualify for the group rate of $109.00 net single/double occupancy (plus applicable taxes). Each extra person sharing a room will be charged an additional $20.00 per night. There will be no charge for children up to and including the age of 18 years who share with their parents. Maximum occupancy is four per room.
To register with the CLF for the conference portion only: We are pleased to offer conference registration at identical prices to our 2004 conference. You may complete your conference registration online using our secure server (VISA or MasterCard required) or by printing the registration form and faxing or mailing it to us. For Online Registration choose the fee below that applies to you. Note: All registration fees listed in Canadian dollars. OR If you prefer not to register online you can download a Conference Registration Form for faxing or mailing. Remember to include credit card information or cheque for payment of conference fees.
*Full Registration includes Friday lunch, banquet meal on Saturday @ $60.00 & conference papers & handouts; **Non-membership fee may be applied towards CLF annual membership for a savings of $75.00; ***One Day Registration Only includes one scheduled meal the day of your registration and papers & handouts.
Saturday Luncheon: The Saturday sessions end at approximately 1:00 pm for sight-seeing & recreation and resume at 6:30 with the Celebration Banquet. In previous years, members have enjoyed gathered informally for lunch on Saturday after the scheduled sessions. If you would like to join the following groups for lunch, please indicate through e-mail or on the registration page (arrangements will be made on location - cost not included in registration fee): □ Students Luncheon with host Cal Beresh; □ I would like to join a group luncheon other than the above.
Conference Cancellation Policy: A $25.00 fee will be charged for all cancellations received by Christian Legal Fellowship on or before September 8. After that date, a $50.00 cancellation fee will be charged.
CN Tower & Dinner Tickets, Friday, September 30, 2005 A new addition to our schedule is an optional Friday night full course dinner atop CN Tower. You must purchase separate tickets for this event as it is not included in the conference registration. Law Student Sponsorship Last year, CLF donors generously sponsored a law student to attend the conference. Sponsorships may provide for all or a portion of the Law Student conference registration of $140.00 and in limited cases, may also include travel, hotel and meal expenses (or a portion thereof). Additional Banquet Tickets You may purchase additional banquet tickets for those not registering as delegates, such as for spouses or children. Please note that children under 10 years old eat for half price.
