Speaker:  Roland (Rolly) Laing, Q.C. 
 
Roland K. (Rolly) Laing, Q.C. is a well-known Calgary lawyer recently retired from the Bennett Jones firm.  
While in practice, Rolly developed expertise in a broad range of complex, multi-party litigation, arbitration 
and alternative dispute resolution proceedings with an emphasis on corporate commercial matters.  As of 
April 1, 2001, Rolly has served as Special Assistant to the President of Alliance University College in relation 
to the relocation of the institution from Regina to Calgary and the development of a new campus there.
