Reasons to Join CLF
Reasons to Join CLF Student Ministries
10. To honour the Lord in law school by associating publicly with a national grassroots network of Christian legal professionals in Canada.
9. To learn from other members about how to live out the Christian faith in the context of a legal profession.
8. To learn about how CLF can equip and resource you to establish a strong Christian presence in your law school.
7. To receive spiritual and professional encouragement and training from CLF staff and our national network of members.
6. To grow in your faith through reading the CLF Journal and other literature offered through CLF.
5. To participate on the CLF Members' Forum portal led through this website, as a way to network and participate in discussion on matters of importance to legal professionals in Canada.
4. To learn about God's mighty actions in the legal profession by having the opportunity to attend the CLF annual conference at a reduced student rate.
3. To cultivate invaluable contacts - judges, senior partners, practicing attorneys, politicians, and government employees - who can assist you with finding summer internships and job prospects upon graduation.
2. To take advantage of CLF's reduced membership rate for students. We only ask for a suggested donation of $25. If this is a hardship, simply email us and we will waive the donation.
1. It's a cool thing to do.
